Eodo is currently working on a $10 million upgrade of Winburndale Dam to secure Bathurst’s second major water storage into the future.
Winburndale Dam is a mass concrete gravity Dam that was built in the 1930s and it supplies water to Bathurst.
Eodo is employing modern engineering strategies including installation of post-tensioned rock anchoring to strengthen the ageing dam wall to better secure the water held in storage at Winburndale.
The project is jointly funded by the state government and Bathurst Regional Council. Bathurst Regional Council engaged NSW Public Works to design and act as the principal representative for the Winburndale Dam safety upgrade.
Council engaged Eodo as Principal Contractors to complete the design and carry out the construction of the works.
